About Aveline Moorwen 2

I write quiet stories.

Not to explain things.
Not to fix them.

I write because some moments don’t ask to be understood — only noticed.

I’m interested in the spaces between actions.
In the way a room feels at night.
In objects left where someone last touched them.
In what remains when nothing urgent is happening.

My stories are short. They move slowly.
They don’t demand attention, and they don’t reward speed.

You won’t find lessons here, or clear endings, or instructions on how to feel.
What you’ll find instead is time — a small pause — and a place to rest before moving on.

I believe reading can be quiet.
And that sometimes, that’s enough.
